The 3DS re-release of Dragon Quest VIII, once expected for a late 2016 release will now be out in 2017, according to Nintendo. Not a huge surprise, given that the 3DS verion of DQVII is just coming out this month.
In Nintendo Direct Zelda news, the Phantom Hourglass & Spirit Tracks DLC pack for Hyrule Warriors is available today, and four new Amiibo are coming on December 2, including 8-Bit Link and a Wind Waker two-pack, with special functionality in the upcoming Breath of the Wild.
Mario's starred in a lot of sports games over the years—soccer, baseball, tennis and golf. Mario Sports Superstars for the 3DS combines all four and adds some horse racing to the mix when it launches in spring 2017.
Vizio's turnkey 5.1 surround sound system is back in stock again, and now all the way down to $150 for Prime members. This has been going in and out (mostly out) of stock for a couple weeks now, and though it was briefly available for $130, $150 is still a fantastic price for what you're getting here. Just note that you won't see the $50 Prime discount until checkout.
A side-scroller rendition of Pikmin is coming to Nintendo 3DS in 2017.
Announced during today's Nintendo Direct, Yoshi's Woolly World is coming to the 3DS on February 3rd, 2017. There will even be a special Poochie Amiibo!
Available after today's Nintendo Direct, a premium update to the Nintendo 3DS' Streetpass Plaza will speed up functionality and increase the number of players you can encounter from 10 to 100. Hooray!
